Fourth day in Kuala Lumpur

There was not much to tell about the fourth day. We woke up late and had breakfast at about 10:00am. Finished breakfast and started to pack. Checked out. Travelled around on the monorail. Finally, went to KL Central and took the skybus to the airport. We reached the airport at 2:00pm and the flight was 4:40pm. Walked around the airport then sat down to have a beer until boarding.

Meal on the plane, for budget plane, meal is charged -

horrible sandwich, ham and cheese I think : HK$15 (without water)

rice box: HK$20 with a small cup of water (very generous)

Tou Foo Far (made of bean curd) in Malaysia, I wonder if it tastes good.

Third day in Kuala Lumpur

The third day was not as good as the first two days. I had a swim in the hotel swimming pool in the morning. That was good, the water was nice and the pool was nearly empty. I could use 'front crawl' without bumping into or being bumped by others.

It was pouring with rain when we went out. I made a mistake by going to Puduraya trying to catch a bus to Batu Cave. We should have gone to the Central Market to get it. However, it was raining so heavily that we changed our mind. We went to a shopping centre instead. It was 1 Utama. We walked around to kill time.
We were cheated by a taxi driver from Kelana Jaya LRT Station to 1 Utama. He charged us RM 15. At first I said RM 10, then I said what about following the meter. He said if by meter, it was RM18. So, deal. When we went back from 1 Utama back to the LRT Station, we took a taxi with a meter. You know how much? RM6.7, arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
The evening was great to end the day happily. We walked to Changkat Bukit Bintang where there were lots of western restaurants. We found an Irish one. We had Guiness Pie and Fish & chips. It was a great contrast to the night at China Town. It was fantastic too.

We walked towards the street where we could take a close look at Menara and Petronas Twin Towers. Had a few photos of them. Quite happy with the photos!

Second Day in Kuala Lumpur

On the second day, we went to Genting Highland. We took a coach from the bus station (Puduraya), the coach was comfortable and cheap. We went from KL to the foot of the mountain. Then took a cable car up.

We had had something to eat before we entered the theme park. We had a few children's rides (the adult ones were too much for me).

The ride behind us could turn you up-side-down. Too excited...

It was very foggy there. Sometimes the invisibility was very low. We could not see things 50 metres away. We both enjoyed the 'bump bump boat' though :-)

After playing in the theme park, we went into the casino. We played with the poker machine, lost a few dollars and left for Kaula Lumpur Central. We got off at Petalling Street where China Town was. We had our dinner in the street. It was great: good atmosphere, cheap food, good food...
